MA-tek sells 80% of its Shanghai subsidiary, expected to complete the transaction by the end of the year.
MA-tek (3587-TW) held a board meeting today (31) and approved the disposal of 80% equity in its indirect investment, MA-tek Technology Testing (Shanghai), with a disposal value of approximately RMB 1.52 billion, equivalent to about NT$ 7.269 billion. The transaction amount will be paid in cash. After the transaction is completed, the investment group will hold 80% equity in MA-tek Shanghai, while MA-tek will retain 20% equity. In the future, investments in China will be recognized using the equity method.
