Christmas Charity Gift Recognition Event

MA-tek has long been concerned about and supported public welfare. Since 2017, under the leadership of Chairman Hsieh Yung-Fen, the company has joined the fundraising efforts, encouraging employees and their families to voluntarily purchase Christmas wish gifts each year. These gifts include Christmas wish cards and Christmas shoeboxes for children in remote areas, gathering many small efforts to create a larger impact, bringing warmth and happiness to underprivileged children who need care. In 2024, MA-tek specially invited the children from Lemon Tree Kindergarten to visit the company on December 12 to perform a Christmas carol. This not only brings warm Christmas blessings to the colleagues but also hopes to become a strong support for the children's future growth and dream-building journey.

2. Support for Diverse Education

Blue Sky Home Project

"Do not refrain from doing good because it is small, and do not do evil because it is small." MA-tek actively participates in social welfare. Chairperson Hsieh Yong-fen values the learning and development of young people and has long assisted disadvantaged students in her personal capacity, providing various resources. MA-tek believes that young people are the future masters of the country, and only through continuous education can there be hope for the future. This initiative can have a ripple effect, awakening more people to care for disadvantaged groups in society, helping the weak, and allowing every child to grow and thrive in a loving environment.

In order to prevent children from being forced to lose educational opportunities due to family factors, MA-tek has been actively involved in public welfare activities since 2017.2020Since the year, in collaboration with Tsinghua University, we have jointly promoted the "Blue Sky Home Project" to assist adolescents from dysfunctional families and those on the fringes of society by providing temporary placement and academic counseling, allowing children to still feel the warmth and hope of society during unstable phases of their lives, with sponsorship funding until.2023-12-31, a total of NT$829,078The amount for the counselor's work-study stipend and related expenses.

China Materials Science Society Competition Activities

MA-tek strongly sponsors the Chinese Materials Science Society2024The Taiwan Materials Science Microstructure Image Aesthetics Competition held annually aims to capture materials science through visual imaging and analysis instruments, interpreting and presenting scientific images from an aesthetic perspective. Chairman Hsieh Yong-fen has long been concerned about the cultivation of the next generation of scientific talent, firmly believing that science education is the foundation for promoting sustainable technological development. 3. Caring for disadvantaged groups

For a long time, visually impaired friends have faced difficulties in independent mobility, which has made their daily life, learning, and interpersonal communication less free compared to those without visual impairments. This has even led to various limitations and challenges in self-actualization. For disadvantaged friends, general social welfare mechanisms and facilities can only provide support in daily life, but they struggle to realize their self-worth. MA-tek believes that helping visually impaired friends rebuild their confidence and dignity is a priority issue that should be emphasized. MA-tek actively responds to the care of disadvantaged groups by employing individuals with physical and mental disabilities and hiring visually impaired personnel to provide massage services, offering more opportunities for disadvantaged groups to integrate into the social system, thereby realizing social value and enhancing self-affirmation. At the same time, it also provides company colleagues with a way to relieve stress, boosting morale through massage services to improve work efficiency.

4. Local Support

Taiwan's agriculture is thriving, earning the reputation of a fruit kingdom. However, many agricultural areas often decline and face operational difficulties due to factors such as population migration, aging population, and technological development. To support Taiwan's agriculture, MA-tek will continue to adopt four orange trees in the Zhongju Garden located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County, with an investment of NT$22,000 for the year 2024, producing approximately every year.458.3Taiwanese Jin.
