1. Human Rights Policy
MA-tek is committed to providing employees with a safe, healthy, and high-quality working environment, adhering to the principles of various labor and ethical policies, and strictly prohibiting actions that infringe upon and violate human rights. MA-tek focuses on human rights issues, following internationally recognized human rights standards such as the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)", the "United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights", and the "United Nations Global Compact", as well as complying with the regulations of the locations where its global operations are based. In addition, MA-tek has established the "MA-tek Human Rights Policy", which not only follows the aforementioned international human rights standards but also includes two major policies on labor and ethics, safeguarding employee rights, implementing human rights protections, and serving as the basic standards and commitments that all colleagues should adhere to during work and business activities.

Labor policy
- Equal recruitment and freedom to choose a profession
MA-tek focuses on the professional abilities and skills of employees during recruitment, ensuring that employees are not discriminated against based on age, gender, race, religion, nationality, political affiliation, place of birth, sexual orientation, marital status, appearance, or physical and mental disabilities. The company recruits talent through diverse channels; all work is voluntary, with no slavery or human trafficking involved, and workers have the right to leave or terminate their employment at any time. - Child labor and youth labor
MA-tek strictly adheres to the regulations of Taiwan's Labor Standards Act and the requirements of the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct, not employing employees under the age of 16, and workers under the age of 18 (youth workers) are not allowed to engage in work that may jeopardize their health or safety, including night shifts or overtime; hired employees must provide identification for the company to verify, ensuring that nothing is overlooked. - Working hours
Working hours must not exceed the maximum limit stipulated by labor standards law, and employees should have at least one day of rest every 7 days. Overtime is based on the principle of voluntariness, and employees are not forced to work overtime. - Wages and Benefits
The wages provided comply with labor-related legal regulations, including those concerning minimum wage, overtime pay, and statutory benefits, and shall not be deducted for disciplinary purposes; overtime pay is higher than the regular hourly wage level and at a rate not lower than the provisions of the Labor Standards Act. In addition, to improve the salary system, regular market surveys and policy reviews are conducted, and performance evaluation systems are integrated as the basis for adjusting starting salaries, salary increases, promotions, and bonus distributions. - Humane treatment
Employees are free from harsh and inhumane treatment, including any form of sexual harassment, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, or verbal abuse. - Non-discrimination
MA-tek is committed to ensuring that employees are free from harassment and illegal discrimination. Employees shall not be discriminated against in recruitment and actual work due to race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, pregnancy, political affiliation, membership in organizations, or marital status. For recruitment, selection, employment, distribution, allocation, performance evaluation, or promotion of employees, differential treatment based on gender or sexual orientation is prohibited unless there is a legitimate reason related to the nature of the work. Additionally, employees are also prohibited from treating other employees in a discriminatory or harassing manner (including sexual harassment as described in the Gender Equality in Employment Act) while performing their duties. - Freedom of association and labor-management negotiation
(1) The company respects the rights of employees to organize and participate in the unions of their choice, engage in collective bargaining, and attend peaceful assemblies, while also respecting the rights of employees to refrain from such activities.
(2) Employees and labor representatives are able to openly communicate with management about working conditions and management methods, as well as share their thoughts and concerns, without worrying about discrimination, retaliation, threats, or harassment.
Ethical Policy
To avoid conflicts of interest arising from personal and work-related matters, and to strictly prohibit any form of corruption, extortion, and embezzlement, while safeguarding customer privacy and intellectual property rights, MA-tek has established an ethical policy and provides mechanisms for complaints and protection of whistleblowers to ensure the integrity of MA-tek's business principles.

All employees should ethically and honestly implement and fulfill their duties, avoiding any conflicts of interest arising from personal and work-related matters, and any form of corruption, extortion, and embezzlement is strictly prohibited. - No improper gains
All employees are required to refrain from providing or accepting any form of benefits from business partners, especially when such benefits may jeopardize objective and fair business decisions. Employees and their families should also be required to avoid violating the principles of business integrity, including bribery, forgery, etc. - Message Public

Reasonably protect the personal data and privacy of those who have business dealings with the company (including suppliers, customers, and employees); comply with the requirements of personal data protection laws when collecting, storing, processing, transmitting, and sharing personal data as necessary for business.

3. Retirement System
MA-tek strictly adheres to the law, ensuring that employees' retirement rights are protected regardless of whether they use the new or old retirement system. For employees covered by the "new system" of the Labor Pension Act, the company allocates a portion of their salary each month according to the contribution grading table.6%to the employees' individual retirement accounts; for employees covered by the "old system" retirement pension under the Labor Standards Act, the company also contributes to the retirement reserve fund every month to ensure the rights of colleagues to claim their retirement pensions in the future.
The procedures and conditions for employees to apply for retirement.
The company's employee retirement standards are handled according to the following regulations:
- Employees of the company who meet any of the following conditions may apply for retirement.
(1)Those who have worked for more than fifteen years and are aged fifty-five or older.
(2)Those who have worked for more than twenty-five years - Employees of the company who meet any of the following conditions may be compelled to retire.
(1)Those aged sixty-five and above
(2)Workers with disabilities who are unable to perform their jobs.
The age specified in the first clause may be postponed through negotiation between labor and management; for workers engaged in jobs with dangerous or physically demanding characteristics, the company may request adjustments from the central competent authority, but it shall not be less than fifty-five years old.
Pension Grant Standards
1. The standard for employee retirement pension is based on their years of service, with two base amounts granted for each full year. However, for years of service exceeding fifteen years, one base amount is granted for each full year, with a maximum total limited to forty-five base amounts. Those with less than six months of service are calculated as six months; those with six months or more are calculated as one year. The term "base amount" refers to the average monthly wage at the time of approved retirement.
2. Employees who are forced to retire according to the work rules and whose physical and mental disabilities are caused by the performance of their duties shall receive an additional twenty percent according to the provisions of the previous paragraph.
When employees apply for retirement, they should fill out a retirement application form for approval, which will take effect only after approval. The retirement pension payable by the company to employees shall be paid within thirty days from the date of retirement. If the employer is unable to make a one-time payment, they may, after reporting to and obtaining approval from the competent authority, make payments in installments. The right of employees to claim retirement benefits shall expire if not exercised for five years starting from the month following retirement. Employees who joined the company after July 1, 2005, or choose to apply the "Labor Pension Act," shall have their pensions calculated according to the provisions of that act based on their monthly wages.6%Contributions to the employee's labor insurance bureau personal account or pension insurance that complies with insurance regulations. For employees who choose to apply the labor pension system after the implementation of the Labor Pension Act, their years of service prior to the choice should be retained. For those under the labor pension system applicable to the Labor Pension Act, they may voluntarily contribute additional pension funds within six percent of their monthly wages.
