February 2024 financial revenue
The semiconductor testing giant MA-tek (3587) announced its 2023 financial report, with consolidated revenue of NT$4.809 billion, net profit after tax of NT$682 million, a year-on-year increase of 9.38%; EPS of NT$10.81, a year-on-year increase of 6.82%, achieving record high profits. To reward shareholders, the company has adopted a high dividend policy, and the board of directors has also approved the profit distribution plan for 2023, proposing to distribute a total cash dividend of NT$9, of which NT$8 comes from profit distribution and NT$1 from capital reserve distribution, with a payout ratio exceeding 80%. In the fourth quarter of last year, due to the deferral of orders from customers at the Kumamoto laboratory in Japan, it is expected that starting from the first quarter of this year, MA-tek will welcome a high growth in the recovery of the Japanese semiconductor market. MA-tek also announced that its revenue for February was NT$373 million, and the revenue for January and February increased by 5.83% compared to the same period last year, benefiting from strong global semiconductor demand, with the company's operations also strengthening.
