2023 Taiwan Medical Technology Expo Highlights

The 2023 Taiwan Medical Technology Expo is the largest AI medical event in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on key medical strengths and attracting numerous experts and associations to participate. It serves as an important venue for observing and learning from domestic and international experiences, replicating medical practices, and smart output. MA-tek collaborated with the National Health Research Institutes to exhibit from November 30 to December 3 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, primarily showcasing analysis services such as "biological sample electron microscopy analysis" and "in-situ liquid electron microscopy analysis."

MA-tek has experience in analyzing various biological samples, including tissues, cells, viruses, microvesicles, and vesicles. They can observe microstructures or particles at the nanoscale. Electron microscopy can be used in biology to observe changes in organelles within cells, to detect and identify viruses, or to analyze the particle size of lipid nanoparticles, making its applications very broad.

The liquid electron microscopy analysis uses MA-tek's unique K-kit liquid sample chamber technology, allowing observation in a liquid environment that is closest to the original state of the sample. This is particularly important as the structure of biological samples often collapses after dehydration, leading to significant changes in appearance. MA-tek's K-kit sample chamber's new patented preparation technology can also observe morphological changes that can only occur in liquid, such as the fusion and fission phenomena of particles like liposomes, or the process of cellular decomposition.

The Taiwan Medical Technology Expo integrates and connects cross-industry collaboration in medical, electronic communications, and biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, linking top global enterprises and fully showcasing Taiwan's profound foundation and innovative thinking in medical technology and scientific research and development. MA-tek participated in this grand event, setting up a booth on-site to promote microscopy analysis technology, showcasing its unique patented technology, and allowing students to connect practical experience with industry needs, cultivate inquiry abilities, and stimulate innovative research and development potential.
