MA-tek × National Institute of Metrology × SGS join hands to create a new milestone in radiation testing
The National Atomic Energy Research Institute, SGS, and MA-tek signed a memorandum of understanding for collaboration on radiation technology consulting and testing services, creating a new milestone in testing.
The three parties signed a memorandum of understanding to create a new height of safety in the low-orbit satellite and automotive industries.
In promoting the common vision of safety and quality assurance in the low-orbit satellite and automotive industries, the National Atomic Energy Research Institute (referred to as the National Atomic Energy Institute), SGS Taiwan, and MA-tek held a grand signing ceremony for the "Memorandum of Understanding on Radiation Technology Consulting and Testing Services" on October 27, officially launching a strategic collaboration among the three parties in the field of radiation testing. The ceremony was held at the National Atomic Energy Research Institute, with a lively atmosphere as representatives from all three parties gathered to witness this milestone collaboration.

This signing cooperation combines the strengths of the three parties, which is quite rare and has significant strategic meaning. This represents Taiwan's formal shift in radiation testing and analysis services from "individual efforts" to "integrated co-creation," truly connecting the three aspects of industry, research, and international standards. This not only strengthens the domestic capability for high-reliability verification but also supports Taiwan's industrial chain in advancing towards high-end manufacturing, aerospace applications, and high-value-added fields such as safety-critical components.
During the signing ceremony, representatives from the three parties delivered speeches, emphasizing that this collaboration is not only a demonstration of technological integration but also a commitment to industry safety and sustainable development. Through resource sharing and technical exchange, they will be able to provide more accurate and efficient radiation testing services in the future, assisting enterprises in meeting international standards and enhancing product competitiveness. After the ceremony, the attending guests also engaged in lively discussions and toured the advanced radiation experimental facilities of the National Atomic Energy Research Institute, gaining a deeper understanding of the technical framework and development blueprint of the collaborative project. The signing of this memorandum of understanding symbolizes a new breakthrough for Taiwan in radiation testing technology and lays a solid foundation for future formal cooperation.
For MA-tek, this collaboration is not only an extension of service capabilities but also a starting point for innovation. Through the joint efforts with the National Atomic Energy Research Institute and SGS, we look forward to establishing a comprehensive radiation testing and analysis service platform, assisting clients in conducting risk assessment and protective design during the product design phase, shortening development timelines, and enhancing quality competitiveness. MA-tek will continue to uphold the spirit of "precise analysis and quality protection" and work hand in hand with these two partners to establish new milestones for Taiwan in the global high-reliability testing and radiation testing analysis field.
