Nurturing technology elites, the 114th Annual MA-tek Future Scholarship is now open for applications.
This program is expected to invest NT$1.5 million to reward outstanding students from five technical universities in Taiwan, including National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Ming Chi University of Technology, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, and Ming Hsin University of Science and Technology. With the support of the scholarship, we hope to cultivate more technical talents and promote the development of domestic vocational education and industry-academia collaboration.
Applications will open on June 10 and close on July 31. The list of winners is expected to be announced by the end of August, and the scholarship disbursement will be completed within one month after the announcement. In addition to receiving a scholarship of NT$60,000, each student will also have access to various development resources such as corporate visits, internship and employment priority, and technical forums, helping students accumulate experience and broaden their horizons.

This scholarship program targets students from five technical universities in Taiwan: National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Ming Chi University of Technology, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, and Ming Hsin University of Science and Technology, specifically those in semiconductor and materials-related departments. Detailed application procedures will be announced simultaneously on the official website of MA-tek, social media platforms, and the information websites of each university. Applications are expected to open on June 10 and close on July 31.
(2) Applicant Qualifications
1. Applicants must be graduate students (master's or doctoral) or third-year undergraduate students (rising to fourth year) in semiconductor or materials-related programs at the listed technical universities in collaboration.
2. Applicants must meet at least one of the following qualifications to be eligible to apply:
(1) Academic performance ranks in the top 20% of the department during school.
(2) Have received recognition from representative competitions or awards.
(3) Outstanding performance in clubs or school activities, with leadership or contributions.
3. The applicant must have no major violation records during their studies (such as disciplinary actions, etc.).
(3) Application Method
Applicants must fill out the application form and attach the following documents (please submit in electronic format or as photos):
1. Application form (including personal basic information, academic ranking, outstanding achievements, award records)
2. Transcripts from previous years (including proof of class or department ranking) and copies of skill certificates (if any)
3. Autobiography and Learning Journey (including future career planning, Word document limited to 1 page)
4. One letter of recommendation (signed by the supervising professor or a faculty member, Word document limited to 1 page)
5. Relevant award certificates, research results, or supporting materials for club activities (if any. PPT limited to 2 pages)
6. Declaration of Commitment (must be signed, information is true) All application materials must be sent in electronic format to the designated email address before the deadline.

3. Announcement of the selected list and scholarship award process
2. The scholarship will be disbursed by MA-tek within one month after the announcement of the winners, transferred to the selected individuals' personal accounts. Public award ceremonies, promotions, or exchange activities will also be conducted.
3. An average of about 5 students will be selected from each school (the number of students approved by each school can be determined and adjusted based on the actual number of applications), with each receiving a scholarship of NT$60,000.
4. Selected students will receive a scholarship, a certificate, and exquisite gifts. Representatives from MA-tek will coordinate with the school to present the certificate and gifts on-site, take photos with the recipients, and publish them on the official website, social media platforms, and news media for announcement and promotion.

2. When applying for internships, project collaborations, or job vacancies at MA-tek, priority admission will be granted.

To cultivate outstanding technical talents in the fields of semiconductors and materials science, and to encourage potential students with excellent academic performance and character to continue their studies and research in related fields, MA-tek has established the "Future Innovation Scholarship." This program allocates a budget of NT$1.5 million for a public selection among five technical universities in Taiwan: National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Ming Chi University of Technology, Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, and Ming Hsin University of Science and Technology. After a rigorous preliminary review, re-examination, and final decision process, which comprehensively assessed the applicants' academic performance, character qualities, and development potential, a total of 14 students stood out and were awarded this year's scholarship.
Each awarded student will receive a scholarship of NT$60,000, a certificate, and exquisite gifts, as well as access to various nurturing resources such as corporate visits, participation in technical forums, and priority in internships and employment, helping students expand their professional horizons and practical experience.
