The approved list of the 115th "MA-tek Industry-Academia Cooperation Program" is announced!
Starting from the year 110, an annual investment of NT$20 million will be made to establish the MA-tek Industry-Academia Cooperation Program, with plans to subsidize 20 projects each year. The program seeks research projects focused on the development of high-tech products and themes such as manufacturing, packaging, testing, and systems, while utilizing advanced analytical testing technologies to support academic institutions in the preliminary research and development of innovative components, materials, and concepts.
Industry-Academia Collaboration | Entering the Real Technology Field
MA-tek collaborates with the Chinese Materials Research Society to host a visit for students and teachers from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University’s Engineering Pre-College Challenge Camp to the semiconductor analysis laboratory. Through practical experiences in failure analysis and material structure analysis, students gain an understanding of the application of analytical tools and develop engineering problem-solving skills, deepening industry-academia collaboration and the cultivation of technological talent.

On March 14, MA-tek welcomed a group of future talents with scientific dreams—the students from the "Semiconductor Principles and Manufacturing Course" at Jianggong High School! The 113th Annual Industry-Academia Cooperation Program "Kick-off Meeting" was successfully held on September 26 (Thursday) morning at the MA-tek SOC Silicon Headquarters. This year's Industry-Academia Cooperation Program selection has entered its fourth year. Since 2021, MA-tek has invested NT$20 million annually to promote this program, supporting 20 innovative research projects focused on high-tech product development, manufacturing, packaging, and systems, and providing advanced analytical testing technologies to assist academia in overcoming R&D bottlenecks and accelerating industrial upgrades.
Jian Gong High School's first visit to semiconductor manufacturers to experience the cleanroom working environment.
Hsinchu City Jian Gong High School has introduced semiconductor courses for the first time this year, taught by Principal Lin Guosong and several teachers from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. This allows high school students to understand the work of their parents in the Hsinchu Science Park. Yesterday, they also took high school students to visit MA-tek, a key player in the semiconductor industry, where students wore cleanroom suits for the first time and entered the cleanroom environment to learn about the semiconductor manufacturing process, sparking their interest.
