January 2024 financial revenue
The major semiconductor testing company MA-tek (3587) announced its revenue for January 2024. The revenue for January was NT$401 million, an increase of 11.01% compared to the same period last year. MA-tek stated that the revenue momentum mainly comes from the addition of the Kumamoto laboratory in Japan, which started receiving orders in January 2024 and is expected to contribute to revenue starting in the first quarter of this year. The cumulative revenue for the first half of the year was NT$2.355 billion, a growth of 32.03% compared to the same period last year, setting a new historical high for single-month and single-quarter revenue. MA-tek stated that benefiting from AI applications, advanced packaging has driven an increase in demand for various testing and analysis, resulting in strong operational performance.
